It started with a pretty dumb question.
What if your phone was just a little less comfortable to hold? I was 17 when I noticed my friends scrolling during meals and conversations, missing the people around them. I was doing the same thing.
I didn't want another app blocking what I could do. So I built a case that adds a small physical reminder without changing how your phone works. The idea went on to win the NFTE South Florida Pitch Competition, receive a $25,000 grant, and be pitched at eMerge Americas.
Tempus Redux means “time returned” to me. Taking time back from our screens and returning it to the moments that matter.
Everything you need to know.
Does it hurt?
It's designed to be mildly uncomfortable, like a small pinch. The flexible spikes deform under harder pressure. Individual comfort varies.
Will it get stuck in my pocket?
The spikes angle inward and stay compact to help reduce snagging.
Will it block my apps?
No. There are no app limits, lockouts, or subscriptions.
